Alex Carling
Tight end · Tennessee Tech
A July 7, 2016, Times-Tribune story listed Alex Carling, a North Pocono tight end, at 6-foot-5, with nine catches for 141 yards and two touchdowns as a senior. A torn ACL in basketball had cooled the recruiting.
He started at Penn State Worthington Scranton, walked on at Temple, and transferred to Tennessee Tech on scholarship. The story had him at 20, a redshirt sophomore with three years of eligibility, playing for Marcus Satterfield.
