NORTH POCONOTROJANS

Dustin Moss

Lineman · Carnegie Mellon

On Aug. 7, 2018, the Times-Tribune wrote that Dustin Moss started at tackle with Hunter Loch, Chase Hinton, and Jeff Hatala the previous season, when North Pocono reached the District 2 Class 4A semifinals. Moss was the only underclassman in that group, listed at 6-foot-3 and 280 pounds. The story said he had outstanding footwork.

The Feb. 5, 2020, Times-Tribune signing story listed him at 6-foot-3 and 275 pounds, a three-year starter who had helped the Trojans to 2,088 rushing yards, with 50 tackles, four sacks, and three forced fumbles. He was on the varsity roster in the Aug. 17, 2019, preview.

He committed to Carnegie Mellon. The signing story said Carnegie Mellon had gone 8-3 and played in the ECAC Scotty Whitelaw Bowl. Carnegie Mellon’s 2021-22 football bio lists him as an offensive guard from Thornhurst, a mechanical engineering major who had gone to North Pocono. A January 2024 academic release named him a first-team Academic All-American as a senior, a double major in mechanical engineering and robotics with a 4.00 grade-point average, who started 10 games at offensive guard.
