On Aug. 7, 2018, the Times-Tribune wrote that Hunter Loch, Chase Hinton, Jeff Hatala, and Dustin Moss had started on the offensive line the previous season, when North Pocono reached the District 2 Class 4A semifinals. Loch, listed at 6-foot and 300 pounds, was moving from guard to center. He had been the backup to All-Region center Matt Caputo. He said he had spent time in the weight room and taken snaps after practice with quarterback Donny Blaine. With Caputo, that group helped the Trojans to 1,995 rushing yards and 1,472 passing yards in 2017.
He signed with Misericordia in the Feb. 6, 2019, Times-Tribune senior signing story. The paper listed him at 6-foot and 300 pounds, a center who had helped North Pocono into the District 2 Class 4A playoffs. Misericordia had gone 8-3 the year before.
