NORTH POCONOTROJANS

Jason Sepkowski

Offensive line · Pittsburgh

Jason Sepkowski was an offensive lineman on North Pocono’s 12-0 team in 1991. The Times-Tribune’s Teams of the Times story puts him on the line with Keith Olsommer, Tony Konasavage, Sean Whitelavich, Jeremy Yazinski, and Matt White. That line averaged 228 pounds. The Oct. 20, 2021, reunion story says the 2-point run that beat Berwick 22-21 went through a hole made by Konasavage, Sepkowski, and a trap block from Yazinski.

He won the 1992 James “Hookey” Reap award as Lackawanna County’s outstanding offensive lineman. The 2016 flashback and the Jan. 11, 2026, winners list both print that 1992 line.

A Sept. 28, 2017, Times-Tribune story on Valley View’s 1992 season says Sepkowski, the Hookey Reap winner for offense, paced a North Pocono team that finished 9-4.

He came back as North Pocono’s head coach from 2007 through 2011 and finished 19-33.

The Aug. 24, 2013, Times-Tribune story on linemen who went on to college names North Pocono’s Jason Sepkowski, who played at Pittsburgh, with Keith Olsommer at Penn State. The Oct. 20, 2021, story says the same: he went on to play at the University of Pittsburgh.
