Senior quarterback Michael Craig made his first start for injured starter Jack Williams and completed 3 of 3 passes for 27 yards on the drive Marquill Eggleston finished with a 4-yard scoring run. Nick Bell scored from 54 yards on an option pitch. Word that Coughlin had lost to Crestwood put the Trojans in the District 2 Class AAA playoffs. North Pocono was 6-4 and 4-3 in the division. Valley View was 5-5 and 3-4.
Misericordia’s 2012 roster lists Michael Craig as a sophomore defensive end from Jefferson Township, with North Pocono as his high school, No. 92, 6-foot-1 and 210 pounds. The bio says he played in eight games, with four starts at defensive end and linebacker, a season-high five tackles in his first collegiate start at Gettysburg, and two tackles and a fumble recovery at Wilkes.
