Scranton Prep wins 37-36 in three overtimes
Scranton Prep ended the unbeaten run at Trojan Stadium. EasternPAFootball has Scranton Prep winning 37-36 in three overtimes. Both teams were 6-1 afterward.
That morning the Times-Tribune had Prep leading the series 24-17, and it wrote that North Pocono's 2025 win had ended a 12-game losing streak to the Cavaliers. The 24-17 stays the printed series. The overtime sequence is on the film, not in a play-by-play here.
The full game is on the school's stream, and Lawrence Spegar's highlight cut is on the game page.
The Oct. 16 players-to-watch column had Cole West, playing through an injury, at 73 rushing yards on 16 carries and a touchdown in that loss, plus a touchdown pass and two receptions for 48 yards. Finn Mulligan, a Scranton Prep linebacker, made several late stops in the 37-36 three-overtime win.
