Delaware Valley had 16 plays in the first half and only two snaps in the second quarter. After halftime a 17-play drive turned over inside the North Pocono 2. Iuzzolino’s third touchdown came with 4:06 left. Zimmerman’s 24-yard touchdown pass to West was answered one play later by the 57-yard run. Delaware Valley was 4-5 and 3-2. West had five catches for 87 yards and two touchdowns. The paper said the recent losses to Wallenpaupack and Valley View were one-score games.

The last game was Nov. 1 at North Pocono Stadium, a 41-0 win over Hamburg that the next day’s Times-Tribune called the Eastern Conference Class 4A championship. North Pocono was 5-6. Hamburg was 6-5. The Trojans ran 50 times for 263 yards and five touchdowns and held Hamburg to minus-24 yards on 23 carries. Brady Lavery had 119 yards and three scores on 19 carries, from 1, 24, and 5 yards.
